Shoutable Offence

Paul Jacobsohn has achieved a shoutable offence.  He has completed all three elements of his Silve C in one flight.  fortunatly for you, he didn’t have any beers with him so the actual shout will be postponed to next weekend.  Bring your thirst.

Here he is at the end of an epic 5 hours on a day that few others were able to stay airborne:

Fantastic Weekend

This weekend’s flying was much better than forecast.  On Saturday Mick flew to Narromine, a distance of 531km.  Unfortunately he wasn’t carrying a logger which would enable him to upload this to the OLC but the guys that did submit their flights to the OLC can be seen by clicking the link on the right-hand side of this page.

This is the view from the north side of the Liverpool range, west of Scone, looking back towards Scone (80km away.)

Sunday was similarly good although nobody took advantage of the conditions - the Duo only flew to Mudgee and back.  Up in Queensland though, David Jansen flew the first 1000km FAI triangle completly within the state.
